Deer Mum

Hello lovely peeps, I hope you all had a good Christmas.

So it turns out that I haven't shown you all my Christmas cards - I posted this one without taking a photo of the finished card, so I had to wait until I visited my Mum  :D

Little Holly

Hello lovely peeps, I hope you are well.

For today's card I've built a wreath with the Berry Branches stamps from Inkylicious.

I wanted a slightly softer look so I spritzed the stamp after inking for a watercolour effect and used first and second generation stamping. After mucking up a couple of attempts doing it freehand I got out my stamping platform so I could overstamp if the image wasn't clear enough. The 'Merry Christmas' is also from Inkylicious.

Happy Christmoose

Hello lovely peeps

I've had a bit of fun with the Merry Moose dies by Tim Holtz for this Christmas card by adding a customised sentiment with Hobby Art Alphabet stamps (I do love a pun).

He's cut from brown core-dinations card which I then sanded to reveal the white core.

The trees were cut from dark green card with a Marianne die and then I stippled white paint onto them to make them look snowy.

The card base is a z-fold that I made from dark green card and some decorative paper (the 'Frozen Snowflakes' paper at the bottom is from Lili of the Valley and the main paper is a positively ancient 12x12" design from my stash (papermania?)

For extra dimension I attached a strip of acetate inside the centre of the card with red sticky tape so that one of the tress appears to 'float'.

Less is More GDT

Hello lovely peeps

I am thrilled to say that I am appearing as a Guest Designer for the next fortnight over at Less is More. They are one of my favourite challenge blogs and provide fabulous inspiration for CAS cards (which I am still trying to get the hang of).

The challenge this time is to make a One Layer Card with a Holiday theme.

To start off I printed the digi version of 'James Balancing Act' half way across a piece of A4 card (left margin 15.5cm, top margin 12cm). After folding it in half I cut it down to make a 5"x7" card.

I coloured him in with Copics
Fur: E50, E51, E53, E23, E25, E59
Hat: R32, R35, R29, R89
Present: G21, YG63, G94
Ground: N0, N1, N3
Outline: BG0000

The greeting is from the Large Christmas Greetings set (LOTV) and I stamped a few snowflakes over the top with third generation Faded Jeans distress ink (snowflakes from the Inkydoodles Christmas Ornaments stamp set)

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
Cardz 4 Guyz #208 Christmas critters
Happy Little Stampers (Christmas) optional CAS

Hello lovely peeps

Today you can see one of the gorgeous new Frozen Snowflakes papers from Lili of the Valley in it's full glory. I've stamped on 'Greetings' and 'at Christmas' from the Large Christmas Greetings set in Versamark and sprinkled on white embossing powder before heat setting.

The twine/pearls/ribbon came together on a roll from Lidl.

Simples :o)

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-

Let It Snow from DSB

Hello lovely peeps

One last card made with the new Christmas Word Art images from DSB (Digi stamp Boutique), which will be available at Lili of the Valley. Just to warn you, there are problems with the website so the launch may not be today as planned but it will definitely be this week. The contingency plan is to have them available on the Delilah Came To Tea website. If you haven't heard, Delilah Came To Tea is their new venture - selling lovely fabrics.
