Delightfully Dotty Daisies

Hello lovely peeps

A quick card today using one of the pre-coloured images from Lili of the Valley called Delightful Daisies. It's one of their most popular stamps and will be re-released this week in rubber (I already have the rubber version too, otherwise it would be on my shopping list, lol).

New LOTV Watercolour images and Blog Hop winner

Hello lovely peeps

Firstly, the prize for the Lili of the Valley birthday blog hop on Tuesday was hidden on Debbie's post and was won by Hazel (Didos). Thank you to everyone who left me a comment on Tuesday, it was lovely to have you visit.

Today's card features one of the gorgeous new watercolour images that are now available at Lili of the Valley. There is a wide range of different images so there is something for everyone. You have a choice of having the traditional Simply Prints (where you get a certain number per A4 page to print off) OR you can have single images which you can resize/flip etc. to suit your project.

Happy Birthday Challenge at LOTV

Hello lovely peeps, I hope you are enjoying the weekend.
Will today be the day I get my 100th follower I wonder? :o)

Lili of the Valley are celebrating their 13th birthday on the 10th of May, so the theme for this month's Challenge is Birthdays. This is the inspiration card that I've made, featuring the Simply Print image 'Bunny Blooms'

The pre-coloured image comes with daffodils but I wanted something pink, so I cut the bunny and stems out so I could attach my own flowers.

For the background I took a paper from the Romance and Roses paper pad (discontinued, but available as a download from Nitwit), roughened the edges with my scissors and then inked the edges with Picked Raspberry distress ink.

This was attached to a 6x6 card blank and I added some grass which I'd die-cut from another paper in the pad using the Die'sire Icicle die. I glued Bunny down onto the card and then attached some pink sweetheart blossoms from WOC at the end of the stems using blobs of Collall 3D glue gel.

The sentiment was stamped onto white card using one of the 'Happy Circular Sentiments' from LOTV and cut out - I used the second impression as it went better with the soft colours.

The card is finished off with a pink organza bow and some clouds die-cut from white card.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
Shopping Our Stash #301 fussy cut
The Ribbon Girls May - any card
As You Like It Challenge favourite die (the Icicle die which I always use for grass, it's so useful. And you get two uses out of one cut as the negative works just as well as the positive)

Thanks for stopping by,
Katrina x

Swinging Sixties for LOTV

Hello lovely peeps

I'm popping in to show you one of the new Decades girls being launched by Lili of the Valley on 3rd April, they will be available first as digis and Simply Print

This cutie is Swinging Sixties and I've used the Simply Print version since my colouring arm is dodgy at the moment.

I covered a 7"x7" card blank with a paper from the County Cottage digikit by Louise Mulgrew, then die-cut lots of circles from various papers in my stash using my Ebosser.  The flower die was a magazine freebie and the sentiment was stamped using Teenage Girl Sentiments

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
 Fab 'n' Funky #343 Flowers
Simon Says Stamp (Wed) Use more than one die or punch
Crafty Catz #363 Anything Goes optional twist buttons
Crafty Friends Challenge #54 B for ... (buttons, blue, birthday)
Incy Wincy Designs - Happy Birthday
Moving along with the Times #41 Handmade or diecut flowers
Southern Girls 156 Use die-cut

Thanks for stopping by,
