Lucky Cats

Hello lovely peeps and welcome to my new email follower.

Today's card was made with the 'Lucky Cats' stamp from Lili of the Valley which I stamped in grey memento onto Pink Frog watercolour card and then watercoloured using distress inks
(black soot, hickory smoke, rusty hinge, weathered wood and mowed grass)

The sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley (Block Sentiments).

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:-

As You Like It Challenge CAS or fully fancy - I once found a little shop in Bath that sold fabulous cards in a CAS style and I loved the fact that a card could be so great with so little on it.  With all the gorgeous stamps you can buy nowadays it's easy to create something simple but eyecatching.

Special Birthday

Hello lovely peeps, I hope you are all well.

We had a beautiful bank holiday weekend here in Somerset, I was so glad to see the sun after such a wet May. I had my second covid jab last Wednesday too, so all in all a fantastic week.

I made this card for a friend who turned 60 last week, using the 'Watercolour Poppy' stamp set from Inkylicious. I stamped with black Archival ink and coloured with watercolour paints.

Other Ingredients:
Pink Frog Watercolour Card
Large Birthday Sentiments (LOTV)
A5 landscape card blank (Anna Marie)

Me ol' Bamboo

I'm delighted to say that I'm a Guest Designer over at Retro Rubber for the next fortnight. You have to use stamps older than a year so it's the perfect challenge for me given that I'm a hoarder, lol.

Their challenge this time is an easy one - Anything Goes

The main stamp on my card is 8 years old and is called Party Paws 'Flowers from Bamboo', released by Crafter's Companion. I stamped him onto smooth cartridge paper with grey Memento ink and watercoloured him in with Distress Markers.

The sentiment was done in black Versafine ink with an old 'Large Birthday Sentiments' set by Lili of the Valley from 2 years ago.

I added a few gel dots tofinish off and mounted on a 7x7" card blank.

Please pop over to Retro Rubber if you get a chance to see the wonderful creations from the team.

Thank you ladies for having me as GDT this time.

Sebastian the seahorse

Evenin' all. A late post today because I've been down with my lovely Mum for a couple of days (now we're allowed to stay overnight again) and I wanted to get this one blogged for a challenge ending tomorrow.

The stamps are from Lavinia - I've used Sebastian the Seahorse (for the main image and also some of the seaweed at the bottom), plus a trailing vine stamp from a really old fairy set.

Waving Hearts

Today's card features a lil' cutie from a Tracey Hey stamp set called 'Friends'

There's a challenge on this month to use the little accent stamps that you get with the main Tracey Hey images, and I've managed to get in four of them on my card.
