Uplifting

An 'uplifting' card today, using my favourite colour combo (yellow, pink and orange) to bring you a bit of sunshine on this horrible rainy day.

Despite all the showers today there was enough light for photos so I did a little step by step.

Piglet love

Who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh and all his friends?

I spotted 'Inky Pinky Piglet'  in the Vera Lane Studio shop and had to have him.

I've used the same drippy paint technique that I first used in 'A Visit to Vera Lane'. By the way, the sentiment on this card is also from 'Hello April'

Snappy Birthday

A quick post from me today to show you a card made with the 'Watch the Birdie' digi stamp from Lili of the Valley.

I coloured him in with Copic markers and cut him out (he has a little birdie on top of his head but I chopped it off)

Me and My Dragon

Just popping in to share a card I made with another of my latest purchases - 'Me and My Dragon' stamps by Mama Elephant.

I stamped and watercoloured the dragon and girl on watercolour paper then cut them out. To make the ink for spritzing the background I just loaded some green paint into an empty spritzer bottle using a wet paintbrush and added a little water. A little goes a long way.

I tried the same with the grey paint at the bottom, using copier paper to mask off the rest of the card. This left too harsh a line though so I softened it with a wet paintbrush.

Hanging with my Gnomies

This lockdown is no good for my bank balance, I can't stop buying new stash 😄

These are Janet Klein's 'Gnomes' from Aall & Create.

A Visit to Vera Lane

Morning peeps, happy Monday to you.

I was delighted to find that one of the Aall & Create Artists, Janet Klein (who designed the Chicken Dance stamps in last week's post), has an Etsy shop called Vera Lane Studio.
