Brusho Poppies

Hello lovely peeps and welcome to my new follower :o)

For today's card I've used the Poppy Paint Fusion stamps by Sheena Douglass.

I stamped the leaf and flowers onto Sheena's stamping card with Black Archival ink then again onto post-it notes and cut them out to make masks. After covering the stamped images with the masks I stamped the stems in place.

To colour them in I painted inside the lines with diluted Brusho powders and then dropped a few Brusho crystals in while it was still wet and moved the colour around a little with a damp brush.

The greeting is from another Crafters Companion floral stamp set.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
Retro Rubber Challenge  #97 tic tac toe  (masking, birthday, flowers) - stamps from 2012
Alphabet Challenge N is for Nature
SSS Work it wednesday favourite stamping technique & celebration/birthday

Thanks for stopping by,
Katrina x

Stunning card Katrina. Love the effect that dropping the extra crystals in when wet has given the poppies. Nicola x

What a gorgeous CAS style design! The flower image is stunning and love how you've colored the shadow around it too! So happy that you’ve played along with the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog this week for the tic-tac-toe challenge! HUGS, *Vicki* (GDT)
