Hello lovely peeps
It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Calendar, with a theme of Paper Piecing.
We have two sponsors this month,
Dr Digi House Of Stamps
For my inspiration card I have used Birthday Cake, generously provided by Dr Digi. I printed onto papers from the Howdy Doody 6x6" pad by My Mind's Eye and used plain white paper for the icing (coloured with pale grey Copics for a bit of shading).
While looking through my stash of sentiment stamps for a suitable greeting I found one in the Handwritten Phrases set by Lili of the Valley that says 'Hope your birthday is filled with Joy' which gave me the idea for replacing 'Joy' with 'Cake'. The LOTV stamp was too big to fit on the card so I typed the words out on the computer instead.
