The stepping stones and chimney are cut from grey Bazill card.

Tree fairy

Evening Peeps.

As promised, here is another sneak peek of the lovely 'Calendar Fairy - December' stamp from LOTV, being released at the end of the month.

I wrapped some adhesive paper lace (Kars) around a triangle of glittered/foiled paper from the 'Silent Night' 8x8 pad (Trimcraft), then attached it to my triangular base card. I stamped the fairy onto another paper from the same pack and cut her out (it's card weight so she stands up nicely). I coloured her in with some Graph'It markers
Skin - 4115, 4150
Hair - 1210
Dress - 9201
Fur - 9500
Also, her wings have been blinged up with some glamour dust.

I made the baubles by punching circles from the green paper in the Timeless Victorian pad (LOTV), gluing them onto circles of white card and then covering with Glossy Accents. I twisted some white plastic coated wire into little hooks and attached to the card with a hot glue gun.

The greeting is from the Christmas Wishes set, stamped onto white paper and then layered onto the same paper that I used for the baubles.

Challenges:-
Crafty Boots - Christmas in July
Crafty Calendar Challenge - CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Deep Ocean - Christmas in July
Incy Wincy Designs - Things with Wings
Papertake Weekly - Build It Up
Simon Says Stamp - Sparkle and Shine
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog - Christmas in July
ABC Christmas - O for Off the edge

Must dash, I've still got loads to make before the summer fete next Thursday (starting to panic a bit now at how much I've got left to do).

Thanks for stopping by,

I've been making cards with the Lili of the Valley Art Pads this week to speed up my card making a little.  It's not been entirely successful since I've only done four cards in two days :) but I'm having fun, and my mojo is being enticed back gradually.

Baby Steps

Afternoon Peeps, hope you are well.

Just sharing the inside step card I made at club on Thursday.
It just needed finishing off this morning as I had done everything apart from adding the tags. Then I planned to get on and make lots of cards for an upcoming fete.

Sadly my mojo has gone walkies.
Before deciding on this arrangement I wasted an hour moving around different colour tags/buttons/card candi. Then it took me two hours to make another card that I wasn't happy with. Grrrr.

So I've quit while I'm behind, and I'm now watching the tennis with some Pimms and strawberries :D

Anyway, I used papers from the 'Country Meadow' and the 'Always and Forever - Solids' paper pads.
Sentiment Tags Stamp set from LOTV
X-Cut heart punch
'baby' letters cut using Craft Robo
'NEW' letters cut by hand - I used the 'negative' part of some old chipboard letters to trace them out.
Forever Friends stickers from Docrafts

Challenges:-
Scrap & Craft Inspiration - Celebrations
Crafty Sentiments Designs - Sweet
The Ribbon Girl - ANYTHING GOES WITH THE OPTION OF ADDING STARS AND/OR STRIPES
Crafting by designs - Re-use or recycle (I've re-used the scrap from my chipboard letters as a template)

Ooh, almost forgot - there's a fab Summer Clearance Sale over at Lili of the Valley.
It's free worldwide shipping on all orders over £10 and there is a massive 50% off on selected lines and 20-25% off many other items. I've already had one spending spree :D

Ta ra for now,
Katrina x

Just a little note

Evening peeps, and a warm welcome to my new followers - so glad to see you here.

This is a card I made before our long weekend away, I'm looking forward to getting back in my craft room tomorrow - this afternoon was reserved for nice long cuddles with the cat and watching Andy Murray :)

I just love this little fella, and he's now available on the LOTV website - Odd Dog - Handwritten.

He's stamped with black Memento and coloured in with Graph'Its.
I also used the black ink to distress the edges of the stars (cut using an X-cut die).

I've used a paper from the Heartfelt Paper Pad and roughened the edges with my scissors.
The background was done with the 'Distress' Textures Embossing Folder from Crafter's Companion.
I cut the musical notes using my Craft Robo and the sentiment is an old Polka Doodles stamp.

Challenges:-
The Ribbon Girl - ANYTHING GOES WITH STARS AND/OR STRIPES
Dream Valley - Distressing
Crafty Boots- Stars or stripes
Crafts Galore - Use a stamp or Digi
Penny Black  - Anything goes with a sentiment
Loves Rubberstamps - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes w/option of Christmas in July

That's all for now, I'll be back soon (mojo permitting)
