Hello lovely peeps
Just popping to show you the Mother's Day card that I made for my Mum using James Daisy from Lili of the Valley. He's not available any more in rubber but you can get him as a digi here.
After cutting a circle aperture in an Anna Marie Designs paper and glueing another paper behind it I stamped James straight onto the patterned paper. I stamped him again onto 160gsm watercolour paper with Black Archival Ink, then coloured him in with Tan Spectrum Aqua Marker and cut him out. I glued the watercolour version over the top of the frame and used a pencil to colour in the flowers that were too fiddly to cut out.
Other ingredients:
sigmo uniball white gel pen
flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and The Ribbon Girl
ribbon from stash
Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet dies
worn lipstick and abandoned coral distress oxide inks
Tim Holtz foliage dies
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
The Ribbon Girls Springtime
Deep Ocean Challenge #176 Vintage/Shabby Chic
As You Like It Challenge single or multiple layers - although I'm tending towards more CAS cards nowadays I rarely manage to get everything on one layer so my style is definitely multiple layers.
