Miss You for Polkadoodles

Hello peeps, hope you are well.

I've got another card from yesterday's Polkadoodles launch to show you, using parts of the butterfly stamp in the Daisy Days stamp set and one of the sentiments from the CD.

First I made an inky background on some glossy card by dabbing Distress Inks on my craft mat and spritzing them with water. I used  dusty concord, seedless preserve, shaded lilac and picked raspberry.

Before it dried I quickly sprinkled some rock salt over the ink puddles

After it had dried I brushed off the salt and ran the piece of card through my printer to get the sentiment on there. I quickly blasted it with my heat gun to stop the ink bleeding.

I made more inky backgrounds with the same ink pad colours and then stamped the butterflies onto them several times with grey Memento ink. I cut out the top halves of each wing - they are heart shaped - and glued them onto my card.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
Addicted to Stamps and More #197 Make your mark
Creative Craft Cottage Digi Creations #50 Anything Goes
Where the HeART is #10 Anything Goes
A Beautiful Mess #3 Anything Goes (Always)
Let's Craft & Create Challenge #114 Hearts &/or Flowers

If you missed the show yesterday you can catch it at
for 7 days.

I'll be back tonight with one of the samples I made for Leonie's new product launch at 8pm on Hochanda.

Thanks for stopping by,
Katrina x
