Me and My Dragon

Just popping in to share a card I made with another of my latest purchases - 'Me and My Dragon' stamps by Mama Elephant.

I stamped and watercoloured the dragon and girl on watercolour paper then cut them out. To make the ink for spritzing the background I just loaded some green paint into an empty spritzer bottle using a wet paintbrush and added a little water. A little goes a long way.

I tried the same with the grey paint at the bottom, using copier paper to mask off the rest of the card. This left too harsh a line though so I softened it with a wet paintbrush.

Other ingredients:
various paper scraps
sentiment from The Fox Says stamps, My Mind's Eye
sparkly gel dots, Stampin Up
stab & stitch tool for border

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-

This is precious, Katrina. Love the way you did the dragon's wings as an off-the-edge element! Thanks so much for playing along in our Anything Goes challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies this week and good luck.
