Hello lovely peeps
Another card today using the Retro collection from Nick Roberts at Craftsascope. I absolutely loved making this one.
For the background I used the Retro Rounds stencil. I sprayed one side with Stick and Spray adhesive and once it was dry I placed it sticky side down on some Sheena Stamping Card.
I made up some spray inks with 10 drops of Inkadinks (Imagination Crafts) and 10 drops of water in a Ranger mini mister bottle then spritzed through the stencil.
Once it was dry I cut it down and stamped 'Disco' and 'Fever' from the 'Retro Fever' set with black Versafine in the top left hand corner.
------
Cut out with 5.5cm circle die (I used Nellie Snellen)
Stamp the large circle from the new Retro Vibes set into the centre with Distress Oxide ink (I used Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry)
Colour the remaining white area around the outside with Black Soot Distress Ink.
Mask off the black parts and stamp the text from 'Such a Card' over the bottom half of the coloured centre with black ink.
------
The Disco dancer was a free image I found on the internet, cut out from thin black card (I used my Craft Robo/Silhouette machine but you could print and cut out by hand). You can find the disco image here on Pixabay.
