Hello lovely peeps
For today's card I've used one of the faces on the ATC Antics stamp set from Craftsacope and a sentiment from the Such a Card set.
I wanted to have a sort of adventure/travel theme to go with the sentiment and hit upon the idea of adding mountains in the background of my 'polaroid' frame. They were just drawn lightly with a pencil and then everything was coloured with Promarkers.
This lovely paper from the Far and Away kit by Gennifer Bursett was the basis for my colour scheme and I found buttons in my stash to match. I was going to leave it at that.
Then I had one of those lightbulb moments and realised that the corners in the ATC Antics Die set from Nick looked like the snow caps on mountains. I bit of paper tearing and colouring later, I had larger versions of the snow-capped mountains going across the card behind the 'photo'.
Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?

Nick is back on Hochanda tomorrow with more new stamps, stencils and dies at 11am and 3pm so I'll be back in the morning with one or two of my samples for those shows.
