Perfect Stripes

Hello lovely peeps

Before I tell you about my card, a heads up for my fellow Lili of the Valley fans.

This is a slimline card that I made for my Uncle's birthday with Perfect Stripes by Lili of the Valley (I've used the clear stamp but he's still available in digi format).

I've water coloured him with Distress markers. For the larger areas of colour I picked up the ink from Distress inkpads dabbed on my craft mat.

The background has been painted to look like their garden, you can see the red shed hiding behind the hedge/through the wooden arch.



To add a bit of dimension I made a 3D arch and hung a little sign from it with silver thread (using another of the Teenage Boy sentiments).
