Hello Pension

Hello lovely peeps, I hope you are well.

I made this card for a husband and wife who have retired at the same time.

The people are fussy cut from papers by the English Paper Company which I've had for donkeys years (bought in the noughties).

I found pretty good colour matches in my stash of paper scraps to use for the backgrounds and used a CC Designs stamp with white embossing powder for the sentiment

Initially I die-cut the circle apertures from plain white card but it looked a little boring so instead I used some pre-embossed white card by 'making memories' called Fancy Vine.

Some paper flowers with red adhesive stones add a subtle bit of bling.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:-
Little Red Wagon #646 emboss everything
Creative Knockouts #445 pick 2 (die cuts, flowers, bling)
Crafter's Cafe #283 use some flowers

Thanks for stopping by, stay safe
Katrina x

  8. What a great card Katrina! If only retirement was really like that. Always seems to be something to sort out or fix here. And look what you did - set Sarn off with ideas for a hammock in the Playground! I'll be watching closely to see what she's plotting for sure. Lovely to see you back playing!!
