To start off I stamped the fish several times onto an A6 piece of pink frog watercolour card with black Versafine and coloured them in with a yellow aquamarker. To make them shiny I went over with a Versamark pen and added clear embossing powder before heat setting.
For the sea I smooshed some distress ink minis onto my crafts mat and spritzed with water.
Since I wanted to leave the sky uncoloured I made a line on the back of my card roughly where I wanted the water line to be.
Once the first layer of ink was dry I dabbed the card back into the ink to pick up the beads of colour that were left over.
I stamped the shark and narwhal (from the 'Critters in the Arctic' set, also Lawn Fawn) onto supersmooth card with black memento and coloured them in with grey Copics (C0, C1, C3) before cutting them out and glueing onto the background.
I love how there are tiny little beads at the edge of the ink, adding a bit of texture (these appeared in my first layer of ink). The dots around the narwhal were added afterwards using a fine ball tool.
