Just popping in to share the 'May' page I made for my calendar. I printed it off in March and stamped the image but I've only just had the chance to colour it in.
I coloured the image (stamped with grey memento) with Copic markers:-
I used an old LOTV stamp called 'Watering Can' which doesn't seem to be available as a digi stamp in their shop, but you can get the Simply Print version
Apart from green to match the weekend highlights, I was undecided on which colours to use so I had a look at current challenges and found this lovely combo at Color Throwdown
watering can: YR00, YR01, YR02 with overlay of C1, C3
flowers/ladybird: RV11, RV32, R29
grass/seed packets: YG00, G40, G12, G02, G05
grass/seed packets: YG00, G40, G12, G02, G05
bird/plant label: E40, E41, E43
For the flower that is 'painted' on the side of the watering can I drew in a stem and then added an extra cut-out flower so it looked more like they were growing out of the ground in front of the can.
