I've been watching an old Art Journalling DVD by Kate Crane where she does painty backgrounds with her fingers and thought I would have a go.
It didn't go particularly well, the paint dried quite quickly so colours didn't blend well (most of the paints are a few years old to be fair). I might try adding a gesso base to the card next time.
so I decided to quit while I was behind.
To knock it back a bit I sponged through a stencil with white paint and also overstamped some circle patterns in white paint.
