Finger Painting

A bit of finger painting today, lol.

I've been watching an old Art Journalling DVD by Kate Crane where she does painty backgrounds with her fingers and thought I would have a go.

It didn't go particularly well, the paint dried quite quickly so colours didn't blend well (most of the paints are a few years old to be fair). I might try adding a gesso base to the card next time.

The more paint I added the worse it got :D

so I decided to quit while I was behind.

To knock it back a bit I sponged through a stencil with white paint and also overstamped some circle patterns in white paint.

then started adding a bit of texture using co-ordinating distress inks and black versafine.

Ingredients:-

Daler Rowney Smooth Heavyweight paper
Pebeo Deco acrylics - mango, lemon, antique pink
Docrafts acrylic - guava
Daler Rowney acrylic - zinc mixing white

#404 Visual Ingredients (A&C)

black memento inkpad
distress inkpads
Limetree crafts white super smooth 200gsm
