MFT Comic Strip

Hello lovely peeps, I hope you are well.
 

One of my favourite challenges for inspiration is the MFT Sketch Challenge, the designers always adapt the sketch so well. When I saw the sketch for this week it reminded me a little of a comic strip on it's side

so I've used 'Penguins in Paradise' to do a comic-style card.

I cut a template from paper to use for drawing the box outlines (in pencil at first) and also to help with masking while I was stamping out the characters.


After stamping the tree and all the penguins in, I stamped different parts of the sentiment in each box, masking off the bits I didn't want.  As I'm sure you can tell, I hand-drew the speech bubbles, lol.


Everything was coloured in with Copic markers.

Penguins: N0, N1, N, N9
 Towel: BG45, BG07
Leaves: G21 and G94 then Y13 over the top
Trunk: E43, E44
Sun: Y19
Background: BG70
