Hello lovely peeps and welcome to my new follower :o)
Another Craftascope make to share with you today, using the Weeping Willow stencil.
There was a bit of trial and error involved with this one since I don't play with stencils very much and I ended up with 5 or 6 different versions.
This was my favourite, which was done like this:
1. Ink up the stencil with Black Memento ink
2. Place inky side down onto some card and run through your embossing machine with a rubber mat to transfer the ink
3. Remove the stencil from the 'sandwich' then lightly spritz the inky side of the stencil with water
4. Repeat step 2 onto slightly textured white card
I used some Clarity stamps with black memento ink to add birds on some of the branches, then mounted onto black and then kraft card. The sentiment is from Nick's Positive Journey stamp set.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
Fab 'n' Funky #434 just add ink
Mod Squad Challenge - stencil your background
Thanks for stopping by,
Katrina x
