Ribbon Slider Card

Hello lovely peeps

I've got a ribbon slider card for you today, which we'll be doing at our cardmaking club on Thursday.  I saw these on Liz's blog last weekend (one of my Crafty Calendar teamies).
When you pull on the bow you reveal a hidden message. How cool are these?

Liz got the idea from Jennifer McGuire's blog - there is a great video showing you how to make them with several lovely samples. Click here to see the post.

Although it's a bit difficult to figure out how they work when you first see one, they are actually really easy to make.

For my card I've used the new Spring Sweeties stamps from Lili of the Valley, coloured with Copic markers.
G12, G40, YG45
Y00, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y19
E51, E53, E35, E25

Other Ingredients:
Sketchy Wishes sentiment stamps (LOTV)
black Memento inkpad
Crop-a-dile
button twine from the Ribbon Girl
card from stash
black fineliner pen

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-

  4. Katrina, thank you so much for sharing your project and creativity at 613. I especially like your wonderful shading with your image and that what looks like such a CAS card ends up being quite a Kinetic surprise! Thank you for the link to a tutorial too!

  5. How sweet, I saw the Jennifer McGuire video and always think I'll have a go at her techniques but never seem to get round to it. This is really lovely (I'll pop over and look at what Liz made too)
