Hello lovely peeps
This week's Throwback Tuesday features the Paint Fusion Poppy stamp set by Sheena Douglass.
I stamped the flowers and leaf sprig in Dove Grey Stazon onto watercolour card and coloured them with Distress Markers (dried marigold, evergreen bough, walnut stain).
Next I stamped the stems straight onto a piece of patterned paper (Potting Shed pad from Craftwork Cards) then cut out the flowers/leaf and glued them in place. I added some glitter to the open poppy with some Sakura Quickie Glue Pen
To do the tag I used the Elisse Bigz die from Sizzix with watercolour card. For a more subtle look I inked up the poppy with the dried marigold marker, stamped it once onto scrap paper and then spritzed it with water before stamping onto the tag.
I added more colour with the markers and tied a ribbon through the centre hole (the sentiment is from Imagination Crafts).
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
The Ribbon Girls Any card

Happy Little Stampers (Watercolour) option tag
Penny Black and More Flower Power

Cardz 4 Galz # 59 favourite flower and why (poppies - I love their delicate petals and their gorgeous colours - they always cheer me up when I see them waving about in the summer)
