Summer in the Garden for LOTV

Hello lovely peeps

There's another challenge underway at the Lili of the Valley Facebook page and the theme this time is 'Summer in the Garden'. You have until midday on Friday 15th July to enter for the chance to win some fabulous prizes.

For my inspiration card I have used the Take It Easy stamp and coloured him in with Promarkers
Skin: blush, oatmeal, coral
Hair: Cocoa:
Deck chair: march hare, tan, cinnamon, tea green, denim,
Cap/book: pastel beige, khaki, umber
Drink: saffron
Dog & socks: ice grey 1/2/3/4
Grass: Graph'It:  8210

The branch is cut from a woodgrain paper (Trimcraft 'Boho Chic' pad) with a Memory Box die (Woodland Branch) and I've made a little sign to hang from it using one of the Teenage Boy Sentiment stamps from LOTV.
The rest of the diecuts are cut from Trimcraft "In the Clouds" papers/white card
Clouds - Joycrafts
Fence- Cheery Lyn
Foliage - Viva Tree by Poppystamps

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
Mod Squad Challenge - Lazy Summer Days
 Creative Inspirations #255 Seaside/Sunshine/Summer Holidays
4 Crafty Chicks  #306 Summer
Paper Shelter Challenge #256 Sunny Days
Cut it Up #100 Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by, I'll try to catch up with you over the weekend if I can find time in between watching the British Grand Prix and the Wimbledon finals :D

  6. Hello Katrina, I think your card is just gorgeous. I have started following your blog and I am looking to jazz up my own dreary global could you tell me how you got your leaves background on yours? I have been looking for some cloud dies but didn't know which to choose but now I have seen how good yours work I will look for some Joycrafts ones. Thank you for being so generous with your crafty know how.

    1. Hi Alli, thank you for your lovely comments and I'm thrilled that you are now following my blog. The leaves picture is one of the standard backgrounds available. If you go into the Template screen and click Customise you should see a Background option on the left hand size. If you click on that there should be a little drop down arrow which will bring up lots of lovely backgrounds (this one is in the 'Nature' category).
      Hugs,
      Katrina x

  7. I love scene cards. This one is really cool because of the tree branch and the fence. I love the dimension they give.

Thanks for celebrating our 100th post with us at Cut it Up!

  8. You have created a lovely summer lazy day here. The image of that little guy, almost asleep with his dog by his feet, is truly adorable. Love the branch, the fence and the leaves for the texture that you put on this one. Thanks so much for joining us at the Mod Squad challenge this week.
