Hello peeps, hope you are well.
Today's post is a special one to say 'Happy 7th Birthday Polka Doodles' :D
.
As this anniversary is normally called the "7 year itch", the Polka Doodles team have embraced the prickly feeling by scratching that itch and mixing/scratching up some new images ... get the pun? Corny we know but the team have had great fun. So to embrace the “itchy scratch” the Polka Doodles team have thrown caution to the wind and “scratched up” a different kind of birthday celebration.
The birthday celebrations will be running for 2 weeks and each day someone from the Polka Doodles team will be sharing their “mixed/scratched up” image. It’s been all hush hush and secret squirrel too as no one knows who has been busy creating what and when they will be revealing their image... so the Polka Doodles team get to join in the fun too. To add an extra layer of itchy fun, everyone has also been colouring up the new “scratched/mixed up” images, (still not knowing who designed them) and they will be sharing via their blogs and on FaceBook.
We really have scratched things up ... new merged images, no one knows who created what and no one knows when they’ll be sharing them ...!
Please do take the opportunity to visit the Polka Doodles team and see their new digi images because you will find a discount code (or two) along your way that you can use in the Polka Doodles shop
Today's discount code for you lovely peeps is

So, onto my card....
For my mixed/scratched up image I combined Busy day shopping from the Winnie fruit punch collection
with a poodle from Work and Play 12
To create my digi I imported Winnie and the poodle into the Photos section of Craft Artist. I dragged on Winnie first and removed her shopping trolley using Cutout Studio. I dragged on the poodle next and resized to fit in with Winnie, positioning it so the 'lead' meets up with the collar.
The finished image is coloured in with Graph'It markers
Hat: 9400, 9401, 8210, 8220, 4135, 5250 and blender
Skin: 4115, 4155, 4170, 4175
Hair: 1210, 1230, 1270
Dress: 5250 and blender
Poodle: 9500, 9506
The papers are from the Winnie Fruit Punch CD and I've edged them with Distress Ink and my little sewing tool.
I printed off a sentiment from Work and Play 12 and cut it up to get the letters I wanted to spell 'walkies'
I coloured them in with the same markers as before to tie in with the image.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-
Ching-chou Kuik Digital Stamps Cats or Dogs
Crafting By Designs Pink and Girly
Glitter n Sparkle #188 Ribbon or Lace
The Ribbon Girls May any image
Keep an eye out on the Polkadoodles Facebook page for more scratched-up images from the team, plus discount codes and other special offers.
