Hello peeps, hope you had a lovely weekend.
It's a beautiful sunny day here in Somerset so I thought I'd show you a bright cheerful card.
This was so simple to make but I love the effect, I got the idea from an old stamp brochure. I coaxed some wood mounted flower stamps out of hiding (these are all Hero Arts) and Distress Ink pads in various colours.
Just ink up the stamp and then spritz it a couple of times with a fine mist of water before stamping onto watercolour card. Spritz again without re-inking to get even more of a watercolour effect.
I've finished off with a Crafters Companion butterfly (inked and spritzed using the same technique) and a Stamps Away sentiment stamped in black Memento. The doodled black border makes the colours pop a bit more.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges:-

THE PENCIL CASE M = More than one

Katrina, this is beautiful - your a really talented and inspirational crafty lady - I love this and would never have the nerve to try it - I like to know how something is going to look before I commit it to card! - I'm not good at anything random!
