This week's Throwback Tuesday card has been made with stamps by Sheena Douglass - Autumn Leaves from the A Little Bit Sketchy range and the Rose Set from the Paint Fusion range.

New Home Card for Simply Sweet Stamps

For today's card I've used another of the sets from Simply Sweet Stamps, this one is called Spring Has Sprung.

Unicorn Rainbow on Launch Day

Woo hoo! It's launch day for Simply Sweet Stamps, have you been saving your pennies? :D

There are ten different sets, which are available for you to get straight away in digi format. If digis are not your thing then you can pre-order them as rubber stamp sets instead.

So, here is my second card made with the Fabulous Unicorns set.

As usual, I designed my project in CraftArtist, positioning everything on a 15cm square. The rainbow was created with the Shapes tool - I made transparent circles with thick coloured outlines and laid one inside the other before cropping it down to a quarter circle.  This took quite a while to get right so to save you time I've included it here for you to download if you would like it (also added to my Freebies page).

I printed the rainbow, clouds and sentiment onto Sheena's Stamping Card then went over each colour of the rainbow one at a time with a wet paintbrush to give it a watercolour look.

The unicorn was printed off separately onto thinner card and coloured with pencils before cutting it out with a small border.
